“Quinty Trustfull’s Daughter, Moïse, Talks Acting and Avoiding Comparisons With Her Famous Mother”

Moses’ daughter Coffee Timepresenter Quinty Trustfull, is an actress today. Although you would think that her mother would have a big finger in the pie when it comes to her career, Moïse explains that this is not the case. “What you often see is: your parents are your role models and you want what they do. My parents really wanted me to do something I really liked. So I noticed that they held back rather than that they said: ‘oh, you have to do something with that.'” It soon becomes clear, however, that Moïse really likes life in the spotlight. As a child, for example, she wanted to “be the leading role in everything.” “And every birthday I walked a fashion show. I just really liked being in the spotlight.”

In order to take steps in her career herself, Moïse decided behind her back to register with casting agencies from her parents. Then when she had auditions, she said she “went to a friend’s house.”

To avoid comparisons with her mother as much as possible, Moïse decides to act, she says. “My mother presents then I’m going to act. Then I don’t do the same as my mother. Because you often hear that: ‘You only do this, because your mother does that too.'” Yet Quinty’s daughter is still with compared to her. “Then I just get very stuffy. I just feel like I have to perform even more, because they already know who you are.” She thinks that there are people who think that Moïse has a ‘one step ahead’ because her mother is famous. “It feels anything but that to me. (…) In the end there are ten others who audition with me and they have no opinion about those others. It just falls more on everything I do. Whether it’s positive or negative.”

Moïse is currently working hard to make a transition to the television world. “Give me a microphone and let me run around the studio with a cameraman.”
