Paramedics arrived at the legendary music producer’s LA home and rushed him to the emergency room to be checked out, reports TMZ.
It must have happened around midnight on the night of Sunday, Norwegian time.

90-year-old Jones, known among other things for producing Michael Jackson’s biggest records, had a medical emergency, according to TMZ – serious enough that he decided to rush off for a medical check-up.
A representative for Jones says, according to TMZ, that the music legend had a reaction to the food he ate, and that 911 was called just in case.
TMZ writes that paramedics quickly arrived at Jones’ home and took him to the emergency room to be checked out.
There he is said to have received a medical check-up and the go-ahead to return home – and Jones’ representative emphasizes that the producer was conscious the whole time.
Jones distinguished himself in jazz and as a conductor in the fifties, before he became more focused on pop and film music.
Throughout his career, he has received 80 Grammy nominations; 28 of them ended with a prize.
