A 15-year-old girl was shot while sitting inside her home in Queens last night, the New York police reported.
The 15-year-old victim was inside her home located on 113th Road near Francis Lewis Boulevard when multiple shots were fired outside around 11 p.m. and a bullet went through a window and hit her in the leg, according to the authorities.

In a similar recent case, also in Queens, a 72-year-old woman was hit by an apparent stray bullet that entered her home at the end of the “Memorial Day” holiday. Days before, a Hispanic girl had died shot “by mistake” by teenagers on a street in the Bronx.
