Quick devotions, Your brother’s blood: Abel was the first person to be killed in human history, and his brother Cain was the first to murder. Scripture Reading – Genesis 4: 1-12 “Listen! Your brother’s blood screams to me from the ground. ”- Genesis 4:10
How did he do it? Fabric to do such a terrible thing? Cain was jealous and angry because God did not approve of his offer. But Cain did not give God the best of his crops. He just gave a few and this dishonored God. God told Cain that he just had to do what was right, but Cain refused to listen. He controlled neither his anger nor his jealousy and killed his brother.
Although anger may be one of our innate characteristics, we need to master it. We can be angrybut it’s a shame not to face our anger.

Abele He was a victim of Cain’s selfishness and malice. How undeserved was his death! How excruciating was the pain in his heart when his brother killed him? If we felt such hatred of God’s service in faith, how painful would it be?
God understands our paininjustice and from pain. The Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood screams to me from the ground. God recognized Abel’s pain and defended him.
We must go Way of faithjust like Abel. God will guide our steps, recognize our pain, and follow righteousness.
Prayer: God you understand our hearts and our pains. Help us serve you and do what is right by caring for others and not hurting them. To love Jesus, amen.
