Today we will explain how to make a dessert easy, quick to prepare in a few minutes and with only two ingredients! It’s about the chocolate swirl, but in a light version.
The light chocolate swirl will amaze all our last minute guests and is perfect both to be served hot straight out of the oven and left to cool, we can also change the spreadable cream with the one that our guests also like the mostsuch as, for example, an excellent cherry or apricot jam.
So let’s see what they are the ingredients we need to make our delicious light chocolate swirl and save the evening.
Ingredients for 1 chocolate walker
To make the light chocolate swirl you will only need 2 ingredients:
- 2 rolls of light puff pastry
- light chocolate protein cream (or any other spreadable cream available at home)
- egg yolk to taste
- latte q.b.
- dark chocolate chips (optional)
- icing sugar (optional)

Let’s make it in 5 minutes
To achieve the light chocolate swirlwe need to spread it out on our work surface two rolls of light puff pastry (better if we get the rectangular ones). Then we take the chocolate spread, in our case one protein cream, and spread it on the two surfaces of puff pastry. Once this is done, we need to roll up the two sheets forming rolls, cut them both in the center, creating two edges and weave them as if we were creating a sort of braid. Once this is done, we braid the two braids obtained together and block the two ends in a circle, creating a wheel.
Now we can prepare the rooto to be baked with some baking paper, place the swivel in the center and brush with a mixture of egg yolk and milk the entire surface, so once cooked, our swivel will have a beautiful golden color. Finally, let’s put in preheated oven at 180° for about 45 minutes on the central shelf. Once the timer has rung, we take our light chocolate swirl out of the oven and sprinkle a little icing sugar before serving it to our guests.
