A breakfast that you can get straight out of the fridge, ideal, right? These overnight oats are handy if you don’t like spending a lot of time in the kitchen for breakfast, but still want a nutritious start to your day. Banana and peanut butter go perfectly together and are also very healthy. This breakfast contains the necessary fiber and healthy fats so that you stay satiated longer. But you also get vitamins and minerals. Banana, for example, contains potassium and magnesium. So a good start to your day.
Tip: I always make this the night before. Only takes 5 minutes and you can grab your breakfast from the fridge the next day.
You will need (1 serving):
- 1 medium banana
- 35 g oatmeal
- 150 g milk (vegetable is also possible)
- 0.5 tbsp chia seed or linseed
- 0.5 tbsp peanut butter
- pinch of cinnamon
Als topping:
- slices of banana and granola
This is how you make it:
Mash the banana and put the banana in a bowl. Stir in the peanut butter, oatmeal, chia seeds and a pinch of cinnamon. Then stir the milk into the mixture. Place the bowl in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Finish with banana slices and granola. Enjoy your dinner!
