Queuing for more than 6 hours, Ronaldo’s luxury car does not get gasoline due to the fuel crisis in England

Jakarta

Bentley owned by Cristiano Ronaldo looks to be one of the ‘victims’ of fuel shortages in England. Been in line for almost 7 hours, still no gas.

Ronaldo’s Bentley was seen showing up at one of the Shell gas stations just a few kilometers from the Manchester United star’s residence. Ronaldo did not appear in the car, only a driver was seen behind the wheel.

Apart from Bentley, Ronaldo’s Range Rover was also seen parked near the same gas station. Driven by CR7’s personal bodyguard, it is unknown whether the Range Rover also intended to fill up with gas.

Quoted from The Sun, the Bentley first appeared at around 2.20 pm local time. But until leaving at 9 pm, the car still did not get gas. Still quoted from The Sun, Bentley Ronaldo waited a total of at least six hours and 40 minutes.

Ronaldo’s driver seemed to hope that a fuel tanker truck would come to fill the gas station. But after hours of waiting, the expected never came.

“Ronaldo has a lot of money, but he’s still in the same boat as us (not getting gas),” said an unnamed source.

“Ronaldo’s personal bodyguards waited for hours and it was clear he expected the (BBM) truck to come, but they were then forced to go home (without success). The other two looked annoyed because they were waiting in the rain. Ronaldo was probably trapped at home with nowhere to go. what if this situation continues,” he continued.

UK hit by fuel shortage

In at least the last week, the UK has been hit by a chronic fuel shortage. Queues of vehicles were seen snaking at many gas stations in various cities.

This scarcity occurs because the UK lacks manpower truck drivers transporting fuel. This happened due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic and was exacerbated by the UK’s exit from the European Union (Brexit).

Some workers who drive trucks for fuel and other commodities transporting trucks, it turns out that many come from countries outside the United Kingdom. When Brexit takes effect, the UK is short of manpower in these sectors.

To overcome the shortage of fuel caused by distribution delays, the British government is said to be reducing its military fleet.
