Today in R Feversocial networks, Roxane talks to you about a young French actor who recreated the famous game of France 3 ” Questions for a champion »Containment version. It gives “Questions for a balcony” and it is to be discovered urgently!
After 3 weeks at home, boredom and isolation begin to be felt. For many of us, the three-week mark is the most difficult. We miss the contact with our friends, our family, our colleagues, it is more and more complicated to find occupations, the desire to go out for a walk is growing… In short, you have to be creative to recreate social contact and deceive yourself. ‘boredom. Fortunately, some treat us on social networks and bring a little joy into our daily lives.
This is the case of Noam Cartozo, a young Frenchman, an actor by profession, who has been offering major entertainment for a week now to his neighbors and his Instagram followers.
His idea: recreate the famous game ” Questions for a champion “ but in its confined version.
In this parody of the game, renamed “Questions for a balcony”, the confined residents of his street clash over questions of general culture, all broadcast live on Instagram’s account Noam Cartozo.
Questions for a balcony: the “Questions for a Champion” of containment
“In which city is the Colosseum located?”; “What’s the name of Harry Potter’s parents?” ; “Who won the Euro in 2016” or “How many boxes are there on a chessboard?”… These are the questions Noam poses to his neighbors in a very successful reconstruction without a TV set but with very competitive candidates and a festive atmosphere.
Every evening at 8 p.m., the game master comes to his window in his best costume and launches the quiz. The inhabitants of rue Saint-Bernard in Paris (where Noam Cartozo lives) compete in two teams: those who live on the even numbered side of the street against those who live on the odd numbered side. And there is something for all ages! So the adults that we are will easily answer the question “Who wrote Father Goriot?” »While the new generation will gain the point on« Who released in 2014 the title On My Road? ” A beautiful moment of sharing initiated by the young actor.

For our part, we are really fans of the concept proposed by Noam Cartozo. But where did this idea come from? He explains :
Originally, Noam, actor in telework because ofCovid-19 outbreak, went out to applaud, like all French people and as we also do in Switzerland, the nursing staff with all their neighbors.
However, he finds that this moment lacks joy and exchange. He therefore decides, like the many Italian confined people, to offer entertainment to his neighbors. At the start, he comes out of his enclosure and plays music. Which quickly turns into a musical blind test. Given the success of the operation, followed by a dozen neighbors, Noam decided to push the concept further and created “Questions for a balcony”.
And there it is total success! The initiative attracts more than fifty neighbors who participate in the game every night. They all wait for this moment like a bubble of oxygen and joy in their day. On the social networks, the enthusiasm is also felt: the videos made by Noam or his neighbors are shared en masse. The young actor sees the number of his followers on Instagram increasing every day, he has almost 40,000 today. On Facebook, one of the capsules of the game was seen more than 1.7 million times and many media outlets have relayed the initiative.
Noam Cartozo, who had not anticipated such a success, says he is happy with this success which brings him visibility as an actor but especially wishes to use it to remind the barrier gestures and the importance of staying at home. He also hopes that “This game ends” because it’s related to containment and the coronavirus epidemic.
In the meantime, we invite you to follow @noamcartozo on Instagram to watch the previous videos and follow the next ones live at 8 p.m. from your home. We guarantee you a good time!
