Children Trimah (69) intends to bring his mother back home from Griya Elderly Husnul Khatimah. This was conveyed after his mother’s case went viral on social media.
“This morning I received a call from one of Mrs. Trimah’s children, angry because it went viral. I have made it clear that I do not intend to corner the family by uploading it on social media,” said Head of the Griya Elderly Husnul Khatimah Foundation, Arief Camra to detikcom, Sunday (31/10/ 2021).
Arief admitted that he would maintain and not reveal the identity of Trimah’s children. It’s just that he said Trimah is an elderly person from Magelang who was handed over to Griya Lansia, to be cared for until the end of life.
“I can understand, I did say that I would bring Mother Trimah go back home. But we make sure to take good care of Mrs. Trimah. Because it is our commitment to take care of the neglected elderly,” said Arief.
According to Arief, Trimah has adapted quickly to make Griya Lansia a second home in her old age. “I think Mrs. Trimah herself will be happy and want to stay here (Griya Lansia). Because she also feels at home here,” he said.
Griya Lansia has no problem with Trimah being brought back by her children. However, if it is not possible to be well cared for, then it would be nice for Trimah to stay at Griya Lansia.
“We can and will take good care of Mrs. Trimah. And she can feel that she feels at home at Griya Lansia,” he said.
Trimah Previously, their three children were escorted to Griya Elderly Husnul Khatimah, Wajak, Malang Regency, Thursday (28/10/2021). They handed over Trimah’s care until she died. The reason is because they are no longer able to take care of them because they are busy.
