Isu Lili Pintauli Siregar resigning from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) emerged as the alleged receipt of gratuities was investigated by the Supervisory Board. Rumors of Lili’s resignation arose before the person concerned underwent an ethics trial.
A few days ago the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas) revealed that the investigation into the alleged receipt of Lili Pintauli’s gratuity related to the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP would reach the trial stage. Member of the KPK Council, Albertina Ho, who provided the information.
The news that Lili will undergo an ethics trial has caused quite a stir. In addition, the issue of the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK resigning.
However, Albertina Ho, who opened up about the ethics trial, did not know if Lili Pintauli had resigned from the KPK. Likewise, the Chairperson of the KPK, Firli Bahuri.
Firli was asked for confirmation when he was met at the DPR RI building. However, the former South Sumatran Police Chief also admitted that he did not know.
“Well, I don’t know yet,” said Firli at the DPR/MPR building, Thursday (30/6/2022) night. This was conveyed by Firli when asked about the issue of Lili resigning.
After the issue ‘floated’ in space, then the KPK gave an official statement. The KPK statement was conveyed through the acting (plt) spokesperson.
“Information that we have received so far, KPK leader Mrs. Lili Pintauli Siregar has not confirmed this matter and is still concentrating on carrying out her duties and other assignment agendas for some time to come,” said Acting KPK Spokesperson Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday (1 /7/2022).
The KPK statement also did not answer whether it was true or not Lili Pintauli resigned. Whether or not Lili Pintauli resigned from the KPK is still a question mark.
