Thierry Debarnot, Valérie Dmitrovic and Jean-Baptiste Racoupeau created a gaming campus in Lyon in 2018 and in Paris in 2021. Today, 520 students follow 12 training courses in the various professions of the video game industry: IT development, business, digital arts, esport… “Bringing well-trained profiles to sectors lacking in skills and thus promoting the employability of students is part of the DNA of Quest Education Group “, says Valérie Dmitrovic. It is therefore natural that the three managing partners turned to another sector plagued by a talent shortage.
500,000 jobs by 2025
At the beginning of November, the Lyon higher education group launched its new school dedicated to cybersecurity. The first intake at Guardia Cybersecurity School will take place in September 2022 with a promotion of 150 students on the Lyon and Paris campuses. “Today, 10,000 cybersecurity jobs are unfilled in France and, by 2025, 500,000 jobs will be created in Europe “, says Valérie Dmitrovic.
To maintain its growth rate and bring new projects to fruition, Quest Education Group opened up its capital to Capital Croissance last September. “VShis first financing operation will have to consolidate our specialized schools among the leaders of the sector“, explains Thierry Debarnot, president and co-founder of Quest Education Group.
“We are delighted to support the founders as the first minority investor. Building on their previous experiences in education, they have been able to create an innovative educational approach that adapts to the needs of young people and businesses “, says Julie Masson, partner of Capital Croissance.
