Thursday, March 16, the chiropractic center of Montcuq inaugurated its new premises in the old treasury, rue Marcel-Bourrières. We were looking for premises to develop the medical center The opportunity presented itself with the former office of Doctor Sabatier, boulevard Chapou, which the community of communes rented.” The premises have three consultation rooms occupied by a physiotherapist – thus bringing to three the number of physiotherapists in Montcuq –, the speech therapist who was installed in the medical center, with from April 1 the arrival of an acupuncturist. “It is important to have a room available in order to respond quickly to requests for installation, otherwise the candidates go elsewhere”, underlines the mayor.
Doctor Sabatier’s office is all the more interesting in that it has a studio upstairs to house the trainees who come to reinforce the team of three general practitioners. These students at the end of their studies have the medical office left vacant by the speech therapist, and consult under the supervision of a practitioner. A proven formula for attracting new doctors. The nursing group of six professionals remains at the medical center. A psychologist also practices in Montcuq, as well as a podiatrist. A dietitian comes to the Promenade pharmacy by appointment.
