The Minister of Health, Marcelo Queiroga, criticized the combination of doses of Covid-19 vaccines. The statement was made during an event in the city of Sobral, Ceará.
“Unfortunately, some want to create their own criteria to the detriment of the great Brazilian nation,” said the head of the ministry.
“I’ll give you an example: dose interchangeability – to use the first dose of one vaccine and the second dose of another -, this was not agreed upon in the National Immunization Program (PNI).”
According to Queiroga, there is no scientific proof of the measure’s effectiveness.
