For the first time since the lockdown began ten weeks ago, the Queen showed up again at Windsor Castle on Sunday with photos from outside: with a ride on a 14-year-old pony named “Balmoral Fern” from her own stable. And without a helmet.

The Queen had spent the time in self-isolation with her husband Prince Philip (98) and repeatedly addressed the nation with speeches and encouraged people to persevere. “Better days will come back,” she vowed.
