Our queen visited the museum after it closed for eleven weeks. She spoke to employees, including curators and those responsible for adhering to the corona measures. A general guideline for visitors is to make mainly local outings, which is why Máxima visited a museum in her own city and could therefore immediately use the bicycle as a means of transport.

Our queen visited the exhibitions in the museum Royal Blue – The most beautiful Delft pottery of Willem and Mary and Breitner vs Israels – Friends and Rivals. The exhibition of paintings by George Hendrik Breitner and Isaac Israels is about the rivalry between the painters and friends and their developments in painting.
The exhibition on Royal Blue shows iconic pottery from Delft and focuses on the period 1689-1702, in which Stadholder William III and Mary II Stuart had many Delft Blue manufactured.
