After an evening full of glitz and glamor at the state banquet, the day begins for Queen Máxima and Queen Letizia in Amsterdam. The queens visit a gathering place in Nieuw-West where events are organized for young people between 12 and 23 years old. This morning’s discussions are about mental health in young people. The two queens are also getting to know different initiatives for young people.

For the event, Queen Máxima wears a vintage pink coat by couturier Claes Iversen. Queen Letizia chooses a colorful combination of an orange-red dress with a candy pink cloak. Letizia’s dress was designed by Carolina Herrera.

Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival
Queen Máxima will also bring her Spanish counterpart to the Royal Tuschinski Theater in Amsterdam. The tenth anniversary celebration of the Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival will take place there. This film festival aims to strengthen mutual cultural awareness through Spanish and Latin American cinema in the Netherlands.

Meanwhile in The Hague
In the meantime, the two heads of state are not yet seated. Yesterday King Willem-Alexander and King Felipe showed up how fun they are, today the program is much more business. This morning the kings will visit a meeting for Spanish and Dutch companies in the cybersecurity and fintech sector in The Hague. There they are met by none other than Prince Constantijn. Willem-Alexander’s brother takes part in the morning programme.
