“Queen Mary 2 docks at Le Havre before embarking on Atlantic crossing to New York”

Before leaving for the Atlantic crossing towards New York, the Queen Mary 2 is calling at Le Havre this Friday.

With a height equivalent to a 25-storey building and 345 meters long, the Queen Mary 2 does not go unnoticed. The transatlantic liner arrived at the port of Le Havre this Friday morning, indicates the company Cunard.

One week crossing

About 640 passengers will board the Queen Mary 2 during its stopover in Le Havre.

The liner will remain moored on the Pierre-Callet quay until 7 p.m. before leaving for New York. The Atlantic crossing will last eight days and seven nights for passengers and crew.

The Queen Mary 2 was built at Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire and commissioned in 2003 then renovated in 2021. Its last stopover in the ocean city dates from 2022.
