Good news for Queen fans. The legendary music group has announced that it is working on a sequel to the highly acclaimed Bohemian Rhapsody. Here’s what we know so far.
The band’s guitarist, Brian May, said in a recent interview: ”We are working on it. At the moment we are looking for ideas, but it will probably take a while as we only want to make it if we have a great script”.
Difficult task
May also said it would be difficult to surpass, or even match the original. Not only won Rami Malek an Oscar for his role as Freddie Mercury, in total the film managed to get no less than 4 Oscars and raised more than 900 million dollars worldwide.
May continues: ”We put our hearts and souls into Bohemian Rhapsody, but we never dreamed it would be a bigger success than ‘Gone With The Wind’. That’s why we also want to take our time for a second part, hoping to be able to deliver something beautiful again”.
Despite the fact that the film did very well, there were also the necessary film fanatics who Bohemian Rhapsody I didn’t like it very much, as not everything seems to be right and Mercury is not always put in a very positive light. Are you looking forward to a sequel?
