The queen will have mild cold symptoms, and is expected to do simple work tasks at Windsor in the coming week, it is stated in the message from Buckingham Palace, according to Reuters.
“She is being followed up medically and will follow all the rules in connection with the infection situation,” the castle writes.
The queen announced in early 2021 that she had received her first vaccine dose and at the same time recommended others to do the same.
But Buckingham Palace has not confirmed whether she has received more vaccine doses, but according to Ap News and other media, she is said to have received three vaccine doses.
On February 10 this year, it became known that Prince Charles had tested positive for the virus, for the second time. The prince was infected the first time already March 26, 2020.
According to The Guardian it must be confirmed that the Queen was in contact with Charles the week he was infected.
Prince Charles went out in December 2021 and announced that he and Duchess Camilla had received their booster vaccines. Camilla was also infected last week and has been in isolation at home in Clarence House.
