British actress Imelda Staunton (66) will play the role of Queen Elizabeth, previously played by Claire Foy and Olivia Colman. Jonathan Pryce plays her husband, Prince Philip. Prince Charles and Lady Diana are played by Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki.

Netflix has been staging the lives of British royalty in the award-winning series since 2016. The first two seasons faced the queen’s early years, marked by family scandals and political crises. Season 5 will now focus on the early 90s, when the relationship between Prince Charles and Lady Diana further deteriorated.
