Elizabeth received the rose from the Royal Horticultural Society, of which she is the face. The horticultural organization will also sell the roses in the shops. For every rose sold, a donation is made to the Award Living Legacy Fund, a charity that Philip set up to support young people in their careers. The Queen received the rose in her front yard and carefully chose a spot for her new addition. The flower was then planted in the garden by an employee. The monarch now mainly resides in Windsor Castle, her favorite home, where she and Philip have been quarantined for the past year. The prince is also buried nearby.
