In 2018, the abuse case against billionaire Jeffrey Epstein blew up. Shortly afterwards, his friendship with Prince Andrew (61) was highlighted, before Virginia Roberts Giuffre (38) went out and accused the latter of abuse.
He has tried to evade the lawsuit by denying that he has been properly summoned, and the case has dragged on. Last week, however, it became known that the prince has accepted the lawsuit, and he has a deadline to respond on October 29.
It is also no secret that he has brought with him a star team of lawyers who cost the shirt. Among them are Melissa Lerner and Andrew Brettler.

The latter reportedly charges $ 2,000 an hour for the job. The prince has also hired a British legal team, led by defense lawyer Gary Bloxsome.
The total bill can only be speculated on, but there is no doubt that these are large sums of money. Telegraph writes that he gets help from his mother, Queen Elizabeth (95), to finance the expenses.
According to the newspaper, she uses funds from her private property Duchy of Lancaster, which draws in more than 23 million pounds annually, equivalent to 268 million Norwegian kroner. The queen will also be updated on the development of the case by her son’s British legal team.
Buckingham Palace has not commented on the information from the Telegraph.
Prince Andrew’s income is a mystery, and it is not known how much wealth he has. The Telegraph reported earlier this year that he has an inconspicuous income.
Virginia Roberts Giuffre is said to be one of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims, in addition to the charge against the British prince.
In the summer of 2019, the deceased billionaire was charged with sexual exploitation of minors and human trafficking for several decades, after several whistleblowers began to appear. He was found dead in the prison cell, 66 years old.
