Queen Elizabeth II entered Westminster Abbey with a cane for the solemn service on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion, the Associated Press reported.

Princess Anne, the 95-year-old queen’s daughter, handed her the cane as they got out of the limousine for the charity service. The queen, in a blue coat and matching hat, smiled and walked freely. However, she entered the building not through the central West Gate, but on a shorter route, on the side of the Court of Poets in the south.
The service was attended by the British military, veterans and their families. The Royal British Legion was founded in 1921 to help the military and their families after the First World War.
