Queen Camilla’s hair stylist, who has been working with her for over 35 years, told how Charles’s wife feels before the coronation and what her hairstyle will be.
Queen Camilla’s hairdresser Jo Hansford spoke to Radio 4’s Nuala McGovern about the coronation preparations and how Camilla is feeling ahead of the big day.
“I think she’s nervous – just like anyone else,” Hunsford, who has groomed Camilla’s hair for 35 years, told a Women’s Hour interviewer. People.
The hairstyle of Queen Camilla must be chosen taking into account the crown. “I think the challenge will be to put on the crown without changing your hair style,” Hansford explained. “How it happens, I don’t know, because I won’t be there – I’ll watch it on TV,” said the woman who created for Camilla her signature platinum blonde bob.
Camilla’s hair stylist will not be in Westminster Abbey in the last minutes before the coronation to fix the queen’s hair.
“I’m sure her hair will look the same as always, and now it looks much better – the color is softer and warmer,” she says.
According to the stylist, over the years they have changed the color of Camilla’s spike, and this is noticeable if you look through her photos from different years. She also explained why this happened:
“Skin tones change… someone who was dark brown at 20 definitely shouldn’t be dark brown at 60… It should be a transition to become lighter, softer,” Hunsford said. Adding that I am sure Queen Camilla will look great at the coronation.
