One of Queen Camilla’s two pets, which she adopted from a shelter in 2011, has died.

A Jack Russell terrier named Beth died, Buckingham Palace announced this and published a post on royal social networks.
“Farewell to Beth, the Queen’s beloved companion from @Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, who brought so much joy, whether walking, helping with official duties or curling up by the fire,” read the caption for a series of photos of Camilla and her favourites.
The main picture shows Queen Camilla taking a walk with Beth, and the palace also shared a series of other pictures of them together from various events taken over the years.

The Queen adopted a Jack Russell terrier in 2011, and a year later she welcomed a second puppy from the shelter, Bluebell.
In 2016, Queen Elizabeth made Camilla a patron of Battersea Cats and Dogs, an impressive link to the shelter from which she adopted her dogs and visited for many years.

Jack Russell Terriers undoubtedly hold a special place in Camilla’s heart, as their pictures were emblazoned on her coronation dress.
