To mark the occasion, Buckingham Palace posted several pictures of the Princess Royal, as her official title is known, on X – including her brother, King Charles III. (75). It read: “Happy birthday to the Princess Royal today!” A palace spokesman said she would spend the day privately.
A big horse lover
Like her mother, Anna is considered a great horse lover. She even participated in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal in event discipline. As President of the British Olympic Association and a member of the Olympic Committee, she also appeared at this year’s Games in Paris.
Anna also has a lot in common with her mother when it comes to a sense of duty. She is considered to be extremely hard working. Their importance within the royal family has increased significantly, especially in the last five years. Almost a day without an appointment
