The 14-year-old singer, who was part of Slimane’s team, performed the song for her semi-final I have Nothingde Whitney Houston.

“When I was there, it seemed like I didn’t realize. In my head it was like a dream. And when I watch on TV, I still don’t realize. I don’t realize everything I’ve done,” confided the young singer with her eyes still filled with stars.

Being eliminated in the semi-finals did not negatively affect the young Quebecer. On the contrary, she cherishes her career with great pride.
“Honestly, it’s not something that bothered me. No matter who won, I was really happy because I had experienced everything I wanted to experience. I was with people I loved and I ended it with them and I won with them, in every way,” said Jade, who says she learned a lot of things during her time in France.
She also took the opportunity to visit the country, between the shootings which were spread over at least three weeks, last January. “Discovering France has always been something I wanted to do. When they told me I was going to do The Voiceit was like the realization of two dreams at the same time”, she entrusted with a smile.
The young singer, who made really good friends on the set of the show, where there was a beautiful spirit of conviviality and mutual aid, said she was very proud of her friend Durel, 13, who was chosen by Slimane to access the grand final. “He’s an incredible singer, he really deserved it,” she concluded.
