As of Friday evening, Quebecers are called upon not to leave their residence for non-essential reasons, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The police will be on the lookout and may ask you to justify your trip during curfew hours. Those found at fault are liable to fines of $ 1,000 to $ 6,000.

The return to face-to-face class in schools, CEGEPs and universities has been postponed until January 17. The courses may however start again on the date scheduled remotely. Distance training can be implemented before the reopening of schools. The return date for the post-secondary environment will be determined later.

Indoor sports are also suspended, unless they are practiced solo, in pairs, or by the occupants of the same residence. The ski center chalets will remain open only to warm up.
