After attracting attention on his USF Pro 2000 debut at Road America less than two weeks ago, Quebec driver Louka St-Jean will be back in the US single-seater series this weekend. At the controls of the Pro 2000 car in the colors of Turn 3 Motorsport and Planiform, St-Jean will this time go to the legendary Mid-Ohio circuit for rounds ten and eleven of the 2023 season.
“It was a great start to my campaign in USF Pro 2000 and an equally great first event with Turn 3 Motorsport,” explained St-Jean. “I think I got some attention in Wisconsin and I hope I can impress more people in Ohio,” he adds.
Beginning his USF Pro 2000 program with two top-five qualifiers, he finished in the Top 10 in his first race. Although the second was disappointing due to a collision, it was a learning experience that will help him for this coming weekend and beyond.
St-Jean points out about Road America: “I was confident that with a good car and a good team, I could do well, so it wasn’t a real surprise for me. I am indebted to all of my partners, as well as Turn 3 Motorsport and Peter Dempsey for their hard work, constant coaching and support to help me improve.”
During this busy three-day weekend, St-Jean will participate in two test sessions tomorrow Thursday, before Friday begins with free practice sessions and qualifying for both races. Saturday will be the day of the two races of the weekend.
This event will see the IndyCar series in action on Sunday afternoon, as well as its support series (Indy NXT) in the morning.
