For the fourth time in over a month, a sailing of the Holland Norway Line has been canceled because there is no place for the ferry in Eemshaven. Travelers have been informed that their crossing will not take place today.
Holland Norway Line has been sailing between Eemshaven in Groningen and Kristiansand in Norway since April. Until October 1, the shipping company had its own place in Eemshaven, but since then the space has to be shared and the company sometimes misses the mark.
Against RTV Noord says an HLN spokesperson that it is a temporary problem, for which a solution is in sight. It should be presented within a few weeks. “It’s about a solution where we have our own berth and therefore a guarantee of sailings.”
It is not known how many travelers have been affected by the canceled sailings.
