“Jason Stewart was dismissed from the Zappers for violating league policy,” the statement read. “While the FCF fully supports the responsible use of cannabis by playersunfortunately, it remains illegal in the state of Georgia and is prohibited at our venue and on hotel property. partners, so our policy of not allowing smoking at these sites is well known to all of our players.”
Athletes should be an example to society, and seeing a leader of a football team smoking weed is clearly not, and that cost Jason Stewart a hefty sanction. Has the quarterback learned his lesson?
