The players of Raja de Casablanca are “all set” to snatch victory from the South African team of Orlando Pirates, Sunday in Johannesburg, in the quarter-finals of the African Football Confederation Cup (CAF), said Saturday the coach of the Casablanca club, Lassaad Chabbi.
“The Greens will put all the assets on their side to take this step and bring victory back to Morocco,” said Chabbi in a press conference in Johannesburg, noting that the team is determined to return to its basics with the victory points.
Noting that Orlando Pirates are very well organized and play modern football, the technician assured that the Raja players are talented, motivated and confident about the outcome of the match.
“The players have prepared well for this decisive match on a physical level and their morale is high,” continued the Tunisian coach, noting that the team has become accustomed to playing under pressure and managing their schedule. Very busy matches with national and international competitions.
Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer on Friday stressed that the match against Raja de Casablanca “will not be easy” as the Greens have always fought for the African Football Confederation Cup.
Orlando Pirates will play against “one of the most powerful teams in Africa with many talented players and who qualified easily at the top of the group to reach the quarter-finals,” he said.
The first leg between the two teams will be held on Sunday in Johannesburg, while the return leg is scheduled for Sunday 23 May in Casablanca.
