“The countries of the European region, which started vaccination, reached the threshold of 70% in 4-5 months. All the rest are strengthening the role of the state, intervention in order to increase the number of vaccinated among the 30% who do not want or are afraid,” Lyashko said.
According to him, these statistics confirm that 70% of Ukrainians will be vaccinated against coronavirus. “We will continue to convince and speak,” he added.
The minister noted that Ukraine should reach this number of vaccinated. This will allow both Denmark, Great Britain and the Scandinavian countries to lift quarantine restrictions.
“In the Scandinavian countries, masks are already canceled in transport, because the percentage of vaccinations is already more than 75%,” Lyashko stressed.
