Quarantine in Ukraine – what will be the rules of travel on trains and buses from October 21

The government took another forced step in the fight against coronavirus – this time the quarantine restrictions affected the sphere of passenger transportation. Starting from October 21, it will be impossible to get from one region of the country to another by bus, train or plane without a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test. Therefore, in order to accurately get into the transport, you need to have these documents with you.

The Cabinet of Ministers has made the corresponding changes to the “quarantine” Resolution No. 1236… Stronger rules will apply in areas where the “yellow”, “orange” or “red” security level is set. They come into effect on October 21st.

In particular, the new procedure stipulates that all passengers and drivers of buses and trains, as well as aircraft passengers, pilots and the entire crew must have with them one of the following documents:

Video of the day

1) a certificate of completion of the full course of vaccination against COVID-19 in paper form (for regions in the “yellow” zone – a document confirming the receipt of one dose of a two-dose vaccine against COVID-19);

2) an international, domestic or foreign certificate in electronic form in the “Diya” application, confirming:

  • completing a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 (or one dose for “yellow” regions);

  • negative result of PCR testing;

  • complete recovery from the disease;

3) negative PCR or rapid antigen test (valid for 72 hours).

New requirements will spread exclusively for interregional transportation, both regular and irregular. On urban and domestic routes, everything will remain unchanged. In addition, the new rules will not apply to children under 18.

All passengers, drivers and aviation personnel of aircraft are directly responsible for the availability of the necessary documents. per carrier.

Previously OBOZREVATEL reported that Ukrainians are ready to pay up to UAH 3 thousand for the sake of not to get vaccinated against coronavirus, but get a certificate… A few weeks ago, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a doctor was exposed in one of the hospitals, who entered false information about vaccinations into the register.

It was also reported that they want to punish harshly for falsifying a vaccination certificate in Ukraine. For manufacturers of fake documents may face a fine in the amount of 85,000 to 170,000 UAH or prison for up to 3 years. At the same time, those who use fake COVID certificates will also be prosecuted.
