Quarantine in Ukraine – plastic masks are not personal protective equipment

Reportedly, no clear plastic “masks” are mentioned in any documentregulating anti-epidemic rules.

It is necessary to use protective medical masks or respirators that completely cover the nose and mouth, the Ministry of Health said.

“In fact, people who use such plastic ‘masks’ do not have any effective personal protective equipment. This is due to the fact that such means do not fit snugly to the face, and, accordingly, do not protect others from infection and do not protect against infection. who wears such “masks” – noted in the ministry.
