Quarantine in Ukraine extended until December 31

On Monday, September 20, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to extend the quarantine in Ukraine until December 31. We are talking about a nationwide quarantine.

“At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on September 20, a decision was made to extend the adaptive quarantine and emergency regime until December 31, 2021,” the message says.

Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko said that the epidemic situation in the country is under control.

“Yes, we are recording an increase in the number of new cases of COVID, but thanks to vaccination we have a margin of safety. The medical system is ready to respond to a new wave, but the best way to keep our lives and health is to be vaccinated against coronavirus infection at the earliest opportunity,” he said.

At the same time, the minister added that tomorrow a meeting of the TEB and ES commission will take place, where a “yellow” zone of adaptive quarantine will be established.
