Local authorities recommend:
- online mode of worship,
- temples should provide disinfection of buildings and ventilation,
- allow 1 person per 10 sq. m,
- provide temperature screening for those who will take part in worship and mask regime.
The corresponding decision was made by the local commission of fuel and energy resources and emergency situations.
Note that the Ministry of Health decided not to introduce additional quarantine restrictions throughout Ukraine, but issued a number of recommendations for religious institutions.
In particular, the ministry recommends increasing the number of blessing sessions and reducing their duration, attending the rite of blessing and blessing of food for only 1 person from a family. The population is asked to refrain from holiday visits to relatives and friends.
Now Kiev is in the “red” quarantine zone, which provides for a ban on the operation of shopping and entertainment centers, cafes, restaurants, and mass events.
