Quantic Dream has announced that development on Star Wars: Eclipse is well underway, which suggests that new details about the game will be coming soon.
What is known
The project was announced at the 2021 Game Awards with a mysterious and slightly creepy trailer, but few details have been revealed since then other than that it will be set in the “High Republic” period.
Last week at the Tokyo Game Show, Quantic Dream’s Vice President of Marketing Lisa Pendse, when asked about the game’s development status, said: “Can I say it still exists?
“Can I say it still exists? Because it does exist. It’s just not finished yet. It’s still simmering”.
It’s not yet clear how long the game will be in development and whether it will be put on hold to focus on another project.
Quantic Dream hasn’t released any new projects since Detroit: Become Human in 2018, although they have collaborated with indie studios on smaller projects.
