Jason Ronald, director of program management at Xbox, made the announcement at the Iron Lords-podcast. According to him, improving the image quality of recorded gameplay is definitely a priority for the company.
“The experience of shooting footage and sharing it – I wish we’d made more progress with it this year. It’s a priority for us.”
According to Ronald, Microsoft has already improved the image quality of recorded images this year, but it can always be better. He also indicates that he hopes that gamers will continue to sign up for the Xbox Insider program, because new features are being tested there and Microsoft can use the feedback from the insiders.
In January this year Ronald already indicated that the image quality of recorded gameplay should be improved.
