Certification is a procedure for evaluating health establishments (hospitals and clinics). It relates to organization and general operation of the establishment as well as on care practices and patient information. All activities having a direct or indirect impact on patient care are concerned: clinical services, administrative services, logistics, etc.
This assessment is carried out by independent experts from the establishment visited. It results in the drafting of a report and the attribution of a level of certification.
The certification is mandatory for all public and private health establishments. Certification is not an exam or competition that each establishment takes! It is fundamental work that mobilizes all the staff of the establishment around a common objective: to work better together to ensure quality care and improve patient satisfaction.
