Jakarta, Selular.ID – Snapdragon has just announced they will be releasing their own smartphone product under the name Snapdragon Insiders. There’s so much to dismantle from the announcement which should explain why it’s gotten so much attention.

According to the official Snapdragon Twitter account, Qualcomm will provide “4 years of regular security updates for Android software” for Smartphones for Snapdragon Insider/Snapdragon Insider Phones.
The answer is an overarching statement that doesn’t say how much OS upgrade they will provide. However, delivering 4 years of security updates is impressive and fits well into OnePlus’ new maintenance schedule for its flagship phone. This also doubles the duration that ASUS will provide for its own flagships, the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip.
Qualcomm also revealed Smartphones for Snapdragon Insiders will run stock Android 11, unlike ASUS’ own phones that run Zen UI.
The presence of Snapdragon Insiders provides many options for choosing the smartphone that will be used by you. The smartphone market is dominated by Xiaomi, Oppo, Samsung etc. Will get new competitors.
