Qualcomm indicated that the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor is developed with 4 nm technology, which makes it take up little space in the devices, and its core frequency reaches 2.2 GHz.
The new processor supports fast charging technologies that enable 50% of the phone’s battery to be charged in just 15 minutes, and supports FHD + screens with a frequency of up to 120 hertz.
Qualcomm indicated that the processor obtained technologies that make it less energy-consuming compared to the previous generation of processors that it developed for phones, in addition to obtaining technologies that rely on artificial intelligence to provide an improved image for the phone’s camera and support fast autofocus for the camera.
This processor supports the work of phones with Wi-Fi 5 networks, as it has a Snapdragon X61 5G modem, and also supports aptX technologies.
According to the available information, the new processor will appear in a variety of smartphones that will be launched by Redmi, vivo and several companies in the second half of this year.
