Qualcomm Snapdragon G – new processors for portable consoles
Talking about portable game consoles. This is a category of products that are becoming more and more popular among hobbyists. No wonder Americans want a piece of that pie for themselves. To this end, they released a completely new series of dedicated mobile chips: Qualcomm Snapdragon G.
The new family has been divided into three segments: Snapdragon G1, Snapdragon G2 i Snapdragon G3.
The cheapest products in the segment G1 are to go to ultra-mobile products, dedicated mainly for cloud gaming. The first processor in the new series, Qualcomm Snapdragon G1 Gen 1is to be an octa-core unit supported by the Adreno A11 chip.
Snapdragons will be positioned a notch higher G2, with high-speed connectivity 5G and Wi-Fi 6/6E. It will be the first product in this series Qualcomm Snapdragon G2 Gen 1 with eight Kryo cores, Adreno A21 graphics and built-in with a 5G modem Snapdragon X62.
Finally, the culmination of the new offer will be layouts Snapdragon G3, offering the highest possible performance and the latest solutions that the mobile industry has to offer. This series is to continue the tradition started by Snapdragona G3x Gen 1equipped with the console Razer Edge 5G.
