AnTuTu released a list of the fastest cellphones for March, the top position of which is held by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is used in the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro.
First of all, it should be noted that these benchmark scores are only collected from devices that have been tested at least 1000 times a month on AnTuTu. Then, the scores recorded are only from devices tested in China, not in other countries.
In this list, the highest score is held by the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro which uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. ROG Phone 8 Pro got a score of 2,141,448, overtaking the Oppo Find
The competition between Qualcomm and MediaTek is very tight because of the 10 highest scores recorded, six were held by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and four were held by Dimensity 9300, and both overtook each other.

For example, in the 3rd and 4th positions there are the iQoo 12 and Red Magic 9 Pro+ which use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with scores of 2,110,595 and 2,098,269. Then in 5th position is the Vivo X100 Pro with Dimensity 9300 which got a score of 2,088,853.
Interestingly, none of the top 10 cellphones with the highest scores came from Xiaomi. Maybe Xiaomi is no longer focused on optimizing its cellphones to get high scores on AnTuTu, or maybe it’s for other reasons.
Meanwhile, the list of fastest mid-range cellphones is also held by Qualcomm, via the OnePlus Ace 3V which uses Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, with a score of 1,466,728, then in 2nd place is the Redmi K70E which uses Dimensity 8300-Ultra with a score of 1,391. 125.

In 3rd position is the Realme GT Neo5 SE which uses Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 with a score of 1,156,867, and in 4th and 5th position is the Redmi Note 12 Turbo with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 (1,141,660) and Oppo Reno11 5G with Dimensity 8200 (1,001,672).
This list also shows that the naming of Qualcomm chips is quite confusing, because the names are slightly different but have very different performance. Namely, the Honor 100 which is in 10th position uses Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and got a score of 836,504, which is very different from the score obtained by devices with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.
