jpnn.com – Qualcomm Technologies officially launches Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G mobile platform. This processor will replace the old Snapdragon 865 version.
“Continuing the success of Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 865 Plus provides enhanced performance for the next wave of flagship smartphones,” said Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mobile, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., Alex Katouzian in a written statement, Thursday (9/7).
Snapdragon 865 Plus is embedded with Qualcomm SnapdragonTM X55 5G Modem-RF System, so it supports a whole fifth generation network.
In addition, Qualcomm® AI Engine 5th generation on the camera, audio and gaming experience is smooth.
Equipped with Snapdragon Elite Gaming, the processor promises desktop-quality gaming, bringing the first features in a mobile device.
The advantages include an GPU driver that can be updated, and desktop forward rendering, 5G gameplay that is very smooth with lightning fast up to 144 fps, and True 10-bit HDR gaming that provides cinematic details with more than one billion colors.
Snapdragon 865 Plus has a Kryo 585 Prime CPU composition with clock speeds up to 3.1 GHz, which brings a 10 percent increase from before.
There is an Adreno 650 GPU offering 10 percent faster graphics rendering, FastConnect 6900 compatibility pushing Wi-Fi speeds up to 3.6 Gbps.
