JOURNAL TRIP – Qualcomm launching Snapdragon series 4 versions 5G that will run on affordable cell phones to enhance cell phones 5G within the reach of more people.
The chip will be the driving force for cellphones with a price tag of 125 to 250 US dollars (around Rp. 1.9 million – Rp. 3.7 million) which will enter the market in the first quarter of next year.
“It simply came to our notice then 5G can be accessed by all smartphone users, “said the President Qualcomm, Cristiano Amon, in a speech to the IFA technology exhibition in Berlin.
Ammon also announced the platform 5G for laptops that can support people’s activities to work from home with a fast connection.
In an interview with Reuters, Amon predicts PC growth will outlast the pandemic as consumers demand features that match those of the best smartphones.
Qualcomm say network 5G, which allows extremely fast downloads as well as running connected devices, is building much faster than previously thought. Eighty cellular operators have applied 5G, kata Amon.

He also predicted that 750 million smartphones 5G will be shipped in 2022 and that connection 5G will hit 1 billion a year later – two years faster than the case with 4G.
In last year’s IFA title, Qualcomm made a splash by launching a chipset 5G for mid-priced phones.
