Jakarta (ANTARA) – Semiconductor company Qualcomm is reportedly preparing to introduce the latest chipset from the Snapdragon 7 series in the near future.
This was reinforced by the announcement of the product launch which is set to take place next week, on March 17, 2023, to be precise.
Launching GSM Arena, Saturday, the chipset that will be expected is Snapdragon Gen 2, which will continue the success of Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will be released by Qualcomm in spring 2022.
The real name of the new chip product is not yet certain, some rumors say it might be called Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1.
Reflecting on the naming of Qualcomm’s flagship class chipset, namely the Snapdragon 8 series, it seems that the new chipset will also follow a similar naming scheme.
Not much information and leaked specifications regarding the new Snapdragon 7. One of the rumors circulating is that the chip will be worked on by TSMC with a 4 nm technology architecture.
