Gadget – Qualcomm has just announced their newest ARM chip for Windows computers, namely the Snapdragon X Elite.
However, this giant chip manufacturer is apparently testing another, more affordable chip, which is expected to be called Snapdragon X Plus.
This information is obtained from the chip’s SKU code, namely X1P.
Considering that the Snapdragon X Elite has the code X1E, it is natural to suspect that this new chip will be called Snapdragon
Since at least last February, Qualcomm has been testing the X1P44100 and X1P46100 chips.
Both chips are known to have an integrated Snapdragon X65 5G modem, but there is no detailed information regarding their architecture.
It is possible that the Snapdragon X Plus’s processing core will be based on the X Elite, but with a lower clock speed. However, this is just speculation for now.
