QNAP Closes Serious Vulnerabilities in Software for NAS Systems – Computer – News

I don’t know any admin interface on the QNAP? I do know a user login screen. Generic login screen for regular users and admins.

I do have 1 port open to the internet, but I don’t know an open admin interface? What should I imagine?

I have on my QNAP
– 1 https port open, but not on the usual port 443
– the default admin account disabled, and another admin account created
– 2FA on
– 3 incorrect login attempts in 5 minutes is a permanent ban

Anyway, I make a daily backup to another NAS in the house, which is not connected to the internet. And that other NAS retrieves the data from the NAS that is connected to the internet, not the other way around. Finally, an encrypted cloud backup is also made in case my house burns down.

All in all, I’m very unconcerned.
