/ world today news/ Yesterday Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gan met with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. The two took part in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Shanghai Security Organization, which is being held in the Indian city of Goa. Qing Gan reiterated China’s willingness to work to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and continue to deepen comprehensive cooperation. Sergey Lavrov also expressed his hopes for improving the bilateral partnership.
Regarding the Ukraine crisis, Qing Gan said Beijing will continue its efforts to promote a peaceful solution through dialogue to make a tangible contribution to the political settlement of the crisis. Lavrov also expressed his agreement on the subject.
